The best way to minimise risk is to patch up any vulnerabilities before the hackers get a chance to find them. And the best way for you to find them is ExternalDefence, a proactive scan of all your internet-facing ports and IP addresses.

How it works

We use software which checks and reports on a wide variety of vulnerabilities in your external network and website. Unlike a real attack, it won’t over-stress your server with things like brute-force attacks. But it will show you where these kinds of attacks might have success.

What it tells you

You’ll receive an executive-level view of the security status of each external IP address and website. You’ll also receive a brief explanatory note about any Critical, Medium or Low severity issues. Where possible we’ll identify the internal server concerned and give an estimate of the time and method to patch the problem.
